    Description

    I recently was able to buy out a watchmaker in South Dakota and also a couple jewelry stores in Arizona.  It is so interesting to see the differences in attitudes towards watchmaking.  The watchmaker in South Dakota repaired watches for over 150 jewelry stores across the nation in the height of his career.  The jewelry store owner/watchmaker from Arizona learned watchmaking at a young age, but concentrated his efforts on selling more jewelry.  Both had top quality tools and parts and both took very good care of them.  I will be selling some tools and parts from these two watchmakers this week and weeks to come.  Here are some specifics about this auction:
