US Army Extreme Cold Weather Parka 1975 Med-Reg Modern Version M-51 Fishtail, Li

Description

This is an original U.S. Military modern version of the famous Korean War M51 M-51 M-1951 Fishtail parka coat, a liner and a hood. The Parka label reads “Parka, Extreme Cold Weather”. The Contract No. line reads “DSA100-75-C-0869” so it is from 1975. The coat is used and in excellent condition. There is 1 little light stain. See photo. All the buttons, snaps and zipper are there and work fine. It is marked a size Medium-Regular with chest from 37 to 41 inches. Some outside measurement with it zipped up are: shoulder seam to shoulder seam is 24 1/2” inches, armpit to armpit is 28 1/2” inches and shoulder seam to cuff end is 26” inches. With the liner in the coat the inside will be a little smaller, but not much. The military liner is used and from 1974 and marked “Liner, Extreme Cold Weather Parka”. It is marked a Medium size. The liner fits the parka perfectly. The contract line on the liners label reads “DSA 100-74-C-1958” so it is from 1974. This Parka is the button on hood type and
it comes
with a hood for this jacket. The hood is marked “Hood, Extreme Cold Weather, With Synthetic Fir Ruff OG-107”. The contract line reads “DLA100-84-C-0496” so it is from 1984.
