Tonight I'm happy to offer, from a recently purchased estate, Sherman, Vintage, Late 1950's - Peacock Blue AB Color - Round Shaped Crystals - Triple Floral Capped Cluster and Double Circle Cluster Motif Brooch.
VERY RARE DESIGN & COLOR! - EXCELLENT CONDITION! - NO RESERVE!
This graceful and very elegant brooch dates from the late 1950's, made by the well known Canadian firm of "Sherman" designed as an medium sized 1.5" by 1.5" double circle cluster detailed with three  floral caps and
layered and stacked for a 3-D effect. The brooch is done in a series of dazzling and intense peacock blue AB color round shaped crystals set in a rhodium plated setting.
The brooch is in excellent condition showing very little use, all the original stones, none missing or replaced with no loss to the finish or plating on the back of the brooch.
The brooch is marked
on the back, Sherman on a small silver oval.
SHERMAN
Sherman was a Canadian costume jewelry company that produced very high-quality pieces. Colorful or clear prong-set rhinestones or cut crystal beads (sometimes with an aurora borealis finish) adorn most Sherman pieces; the metal is rhodium-plated or gold-plated. "Jewels of Elegance" by Sherman was written on some carded Sherman jewelry. Sherman produced jewelry from 1947-1981.
