Presents – Bountiful Baby’s Realborn Daphne Asleep, 19"-Fully limbed - COA
6 lbs.

I have spent many hours focused on Daphne’s skin tone and details with my painting of her. Her hair is painted in black. Photos are taken in natural lighting.  Overall I have done the following:
1.
Hand painted and baked Daphne with many colored layers of Genesis Heat Set Paints using my own choice of a layering technique.
2.
I lightly mottled, and blushed her.
3.
Mat varnished her.
4.
Filled her with glass beads/polyfil. Symmetrically formulated her weight by using an actual baby’s weight formula.(This means her arms, legs, body and head are formulated in proportion to each other like a real baby's limbs would be per her total weight).
5.
Her nose is left alone without drilled holes.
6.
Plugged limbs, and ringed head.
7.
Used a gathered chest and butt doe suede body that is closed inside of limbs.
8.
Body is attached by plastic ties, not strings.
9.
Baby scented her.
10.
Glossed nails, ears, eyes and lips for realism.
11.
Rooted eyelashes for the eyes.
12.
Lightly painted capillaries around eyes, and face as well as painted faint veins all over her body.
13.
She has a magnified pacifier with the magnet reinforced with glued tabs.
14.
She wears newborn size clothes – to possibly 3 mos. depending on manufacturer. The actual clothe sizes vary per brand.
I can take more photos if you would like to see more detail. Ask me any questions if you like. My babies are carefully packed in brand new custom-sized boxes, -never crammed up into flat rate boxes. She will come with the following items:
White base onesie. (Best to keep a base onesie on at all times to protect body)
Four outfits of my choice. (Not necessarily seen in every photo as I reserve some for camera props and some were my daughter’s baby clothes). Please note that
some
items seen such as toys and muslin blankets are not included in the package as they are for prop use only. She will come with her own toys.
Three diapers.

COA & Care Instructions (If you would like a different baby's name on certificate, let me know so that I can put it on the birth certificate or leave it blank for you to write it in.) I send a second birth certificate in addition to the COA.

WARNING:
Besides the danger of magnets that these babies contain, please note that these art dolls are not toys.
Children under 12 should not play with them as a toy because they contain glass beads that if ever should come loose from the limbs by rough playing – they can end up in the child’s eyes or mouth!
These beads are fine sandy-like cut glass.
The limbs are securely tied, bu ta hard pull can cause them to fall off and expose the beads even though I personally plug the limbs for extra protection.
So the bottom line is, they are not meant to be played with as kids will be kids sometimes, and could throw or drop them to cause them to  .
The finish can scratch easily too if handled too roughly. They are made for collectors and adults who know how to take care of one. Supervision is a must for such a fragile item if around small children. (And this includes pets – they are kids too!)
