Description

This is an original leather flight jacket from the Vietnam era.  The patch represents a Marine helicopter unit HMM 262 Alpha, "The Poor Devils". Check (http://www.hmm-262combatvets.org/images/althoff_pics/althoff.htm) for full details and a history of the unit.  The
Poor Devil Patch was designed by Robert "Yogi" Yeager 66-67 for Detachment Alpha aboard the U.S.S. Tripoli 1966-67. This jacket has considerable wear consistent with use during the period.  According to the label, it is a size 40. This is a great historical aviation item.
