I CAN'T PAISE THIS LOT ENOUGH. MAJOR GENERAL JOHN MILTON FINN (AUG 31, 1913 - APR 9, 1979) GRADUATE OF US MILITARY ACADEMY AT WEST POINT CLASS OF 1938. SERVED WITH THE 7TH DIVISION IN THE PACIFIC, AWARDED THE SILVER STAR MEDAL THREE TIMES (BETWEEN 1944 /45) FOR GALLANTRY AGAINST THE ENEMY AS COMMANDING OFFICER OF AN INFANTRY BATTALION.  ALSO AWARDED THE LEGION OF MERIT THREE TIMES (1945 IN WWII, 1962 FOR ACTIONS DURING VIETNAM WAR AS CHIEF OF STAFF IX ARMY CORPS, AND 1964 BRIGADIER GENERAL). ALSO AWARDED THE ARMY DISTINGUISHED SERVICE MEDAL IN 1967 AS MAJOR GENERAL. SIZE APPROXIMATELY 40R.
ALL ITEMS ARE IN EXCELLENT CONDITION, NO STAINS OR HOLES. COMES WITH TUNIC, SHIRT, TIE, PANTS, BELT AND GENERAL OFFICER OVERSEAS HAT. TUNIC AND PANTS ARE TAILOR MADE IN HONG KONG WHILE HE WAS SERVING IN VIETNAM, BOTH HAVE TAILOR LABELS NAMED TO HIM, DATED OCTOBER 9, 1967. ALL GENERAL STARS ARE "STERLING" MARKED, COMBAT INFANTRY BADGE "STERLING" MARKED, GENERAL STAFF BADGE IS N.S. MEYER MARKED, NO-UV GLOW TO RIBBONS.
