    These lots are of vintage original clippings saved on specific players and teams. Most come from the 1930's through the 1950's. As always, please feel free to ask any questions you may have and/or request other scans.
    Featured here is a lot of three news clippings on Hall of Fame Manager Al Lopez, including a pair of early 1950's Sporting News articles. Lopez, who was a catcher for the Brooklyn Dodgers and Pittsburgh Pirates, also managed the Cleveland Indians and Chicago White Sox during the 1950's; the only two flags not won by the Yankees.
