Glow in the dark paint watch lume designed for the re-luming / restoration of watch dials.
    Watch Lume

are suppliers of high grade phosphorescent, glow in the dark pigments and pre-mixed pastes that are used by professional watch dial restorers worldwide.
Since 2005 we have sold the best in lume for watch dial and hand repair. Now tested on thousands of watches. Durable, bright and long lasting, our lume mixed with top grade binder paste gives excellent and long lasting results.
    ABOUT THIS KIT
This kit includes 35 grams (5 x 7 grams) of all our colors (green, white, orange, blue and vintage patina) of glow in the dark pigment and 60 ml of our matte binder. It also includes our vintage tint syringe and micro nozzle.
We believe our glow in the dark powder is the brightest pigment available. It is much brighter than other products available on the internet and is up to 30 times brighter than zinc sulphide based products. Our powder is non-radioactive, non-toxic and is safe to handle.
Our matte binder has been specially formulated to provide a strong, durable fix onto the watch dial. It also allows UV light spectrum to pass through so the lume powder can be fully charged.
*NEW* - This kit now comes with a syringe that contains a vintage color tint. This allows you to add a tiny amount of tint to the mix and achieve the exact color/tint of patina you require.
Our matte binder has been specially formulated to provide a strong, durable fix onto the watch dial. It also allows UV light spectrum to pass through so the lume powder can be fully charged.

    Application Tips and FAQ
The binder paste can be thinned with a drop of water.
If kept in a cool and dry place
    Watch Lume

will store for years if not decades.
The premixed syringe can be opened, used and then closed and stored for later use.
The vintage kit come with a syringe of tint that will achieve a great vintage color. If you require a specific match the kit is compatible with any acrylic based paint available locally at any art supply store.
If you are applying to a watch bezel (Lume dot etc) you can apply a coat  of clear nail varnish. It is not required though.
    Watch Lume

is compatible with epoxy resin, but be aware epoxy resin is hard to work with at small scale and once it dries it will not come off. We do not endorse or recommend using epoxy resin.
Practice and test on a piece of metal or cheap dial before applying. We do not accept any responsibility for misapplication of our products.

    MORE ABOUT PHOSPHORESCENCE
Phosphorescence is a specific type of photoluminescence related to fluorescence. Unlike fluorescence, a phosphorescent
material does not immediately re-emit the light energy it absorbs. The slower time scales of the re-emission are associated with
"forbidden" energy state transitions in quantum mechanics. As these transitions occur very slowly in certain materials, absorbed
energy may be re-emitted at a lower intensity for up to several hours after the original excitation.
