AeroOutserts outcompete insert/half-out serts as most ID (Internal Diameter) based components may not be concentric with the arrow shaft as the wall thickness of the arrow shaft may not be perfectly equal. Thus arrow shaft installed with insert/half-outserts cannot achieve perfect concentricity while those installed with AeroOutsert can as the AeroOutsert uses outer diameter of the arrow shaft for installation
