everyone. Welcome to my auctions. Here I am presenting a nice pair of COMPORTS in the " CRYSTAL "
color with the
" FIRST LOVE "
etched pattern. This pieces were produced by
DUNCAN AND MILLER
GLASS CO
.
DUNCAN
was one of the most famous glass houses in America.
DUNCAN
produced hundreds of patterns including several etched patterns.
Among the many etched patterns produced by
DUNCAN
there is the
FIRST LOVE
which was produced in crystal
.
The
FIRST LOVE ETCHED
pieces are without any doubt the most recognized, admired and hunted by
DUNCAN
glass collectors

Here we have a gorgeous pair of comports.  One is a tall comport and the other one is a smaller low comport.  The comports have a plain round foot with a fancy style stem.  They have a round shape with a scalloped edge and slightly turned up sides.  The tall comport has a height of aprox. 5 - 1/4 inches and a diameter of aprox. 7 inches.  The smaller comport has a height of aprox 4 inches and a diameter of aprox. 5 inches.
This pair is in the CANTERBURY (LINE NO. 115) pattern.
