    Description

This is a phenomenal antique engraving print that is over 170 years old (1842-45).  It depicts a rare view of a Landseer colored Newfoundland dog and a Greyhound (WIndhund) Dog. Very rare look at what these breeds looked like long ago.
The print is a small but incredibly high quality antique copper or steel engraving from 1842-1845. It is a Honegger engraving (a respected printer of the time). It is hard to scan a fine engraving like this, but under a magnifying glass, you'll see amazing crisp fine engraved lines. The paper is thick and of high quality so it holds the details well. See scan for a better idea of the condition.
The print measures approx. 9.5 x 6.75 inches.
This is GENUINE antique/vintage item. It is not a modern reproduction.
